U6 Program:

We will be focusing on learning basic skills and the rules of the game. Stations will be set up focusing on different skills with the intent to maximize touches on the ball for all players. We will also be playing games each practice to incorporate the skills into the game. Parents will be encouraged to participate in helping with the drills to further their soccer knowledge and interest in pursuing youth soccer coaching.

Carl Speed has been involved in coaching in the Okanagan over the past two years. He has most recently coached at the Super Y-league level as head coach with the U16 girls' and boys' teams. He was also head coach of the Kelowna United U18 girls squad this year, obtaining a silver medal in the provincial final. His playing experience includes the past 3 seasons in the PCSL with the Okanagan Challenge. His previous playing experiences stem from Victoria where he was a member of the 2004 National Championship Vikes Mens' Soccer team.
